Over the last fifteen years, Mr. Stanley has taught Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Seminars, and has spoken at a variety of American Bar Association conventions including the annual convention and the young lawyers convention. He has been the “plaintiff’s” instructor and a California State Bar Sponsored Continuing Education of the Bar seminar on malpractice law. He was nominated for 2005 Trial Lawyer of the Year by the prestigious Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles (formerly known as Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association). Mr. Stanley has also been invited to include his closing arguments in the book “Closing Argument by the Masters.”
Mr. Stanley also serves as a probation and wellness monitor for the California State Bar to aid and supervise various attorneys recovering from substance abuse. He was also a Public Member of the California Dental Board’s Diversion Committee.
Mr. Stanley graduated from the University of California Los Angeles and West Los Angeles Law School. He is licensed to practice in the State of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and has also appeared pro hac vice in cases in Utah and Nevada State courts, as well as pro hac vice admission to the Federal District Court in Utah.
Mr. Stanley has an extensive record of taking cases to trial and obtaining successful jury awards including multi-million dollar jury verdicts in Los Angeles County in cases involving products liability law, and insurance bad faith. In addition, he has also successfully defended a multi-million dollar lawsuit filed against a corporate client. Other victories include the largest jury verdict ever awarded in Inyo County in a case involving legal malpractice claims.
Mr. Lamb attended Pitzer College in Claremont, California, graduating with a degree in Political Studies. While in Claremont, Mr. Lamb was a four year letter winner and All-Conference baseball player and participated in the NCAA Division III Regional Playoffs two years in a row. As a junior Mr. Lamb was selected as the first award winner of the Judie and Frank Fenton Award for Athletic Leadership in 2003 that is traditionally awarded to one graduating senior athlete per year who has demonstrated a high level of academic and athletic achievement and leadership. To date he remains the only junior to have garnered this honor.
After college, Mr. Lamb attended the University of La Verne School of Law in Ontario, CA and graduated Cum Laude in May of 2008. While in law school, he was named to the Dean's List and received CALI awards for highest grade in the class for Constitutional Law I, Insurance Law, Bankruptcy, Legal Writing and Analysis I, Legal Writing and Analysis II, and Civil Procedure II, and was an Appellate Advocacy Competition Finalist in 2007.
Mr. Lamb was admitted to the California State Bar in 2008 and has practiced civil litigation with an emphasis on cases involving medical malpractice, legal malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, premises liability, and sexual harassment. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for both the Northern and Central districts of California, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and has also appeared and argued before the 2nd District Court of Appeal.
Mr. Lamb is a devoted husband to his wife Erica who is an elementary school teacher. He enjoys devoting time in the elementary schools where he has been a guest speaker regarding education and the law.
